Module 5 Description

The purpose of this module is help you start thinking about what a flipped course in your discipline might look like and what you hope your students will achieve by the end of your flipped course. There are 3 components to this course design module and you can select to pick and choose module components or move through the module by completing all 3 parts.Choose your level of engagement based on your own needs and time constraints.

Module 5 Objectives:  At the end of this module, depending on the options and projects you select to complete, you will be able to:

  • 5A: backwards course design and the elements of a quality course (QCF)
  • 5B: design and align student learning outcomes, assessments and teaching and learning activities for either one small flipped topic/concept or for a full flipped course, and
  • 5C: reflect on your flipped course design or learning activity experience and share with your peers


 

Get Started with Module 5A: An Introduction to Course Design

  into Module 5 or move forward and begin Module 6
