The Mobile Communication System
In your hand, you hold a Smart Phone. You an talk with your friends, send texts, photos, videos, find (and be found) from your location, and more, all without wires. What makes up the mobile communication system? What's a network, cell, tower, and how do all these things connect you to the rest of the world?
Learning Objectives
- What are the parts of a mobile communication system, and what do they do?
- Who owns and controls all of the parts of the system? (Where do business, local, national, and international boundaries intersect?)
