Introduction
Welcome to ECE 3305! For your first laboratory assignment, we will be familiarizing you with the vector network analyzer (VNA) you will be utilizing throughout the semester.
Pre-Lab: Please complete the pre-lab assignments each week before coming to the lab.
Lab attendance: Lab attendance is required this week in order to complete the measurements. If you are unable to attend your lab due to illness, please contact your TA and arrange a later date to complete this lab.
What is due: There is no formal lab report due, but only a few online quiz questions that you will submit via CANVAS. This is due next week before your next lab.

Readings
- Read about the reflection coefficient from Textbook: Fundamentals of Applied Electromagnetics by Ulaby, et al. Section 2-6. The reflection coefficient and S11 (which you will be measuring in this lab) are the same thing. The transmission coefficient is the same as S21 or S12.
