Text ## Lecture (L1-5) Voltage and Power

In your home, the voltage is 110V (or 220V for outlets for stoves and dryers and sometimes a shop). The current is limited by the circuit breakers (typically 10,15, or 20 Amp breakers). And on your power bill, you pay for kilo-watt-hours (kwh). How are all these related?

  3. What is Power?  Energy?

  4. Concept Question 1-10:  Explain how node voltage relates to voltage difference.   Sketch how to measure each one (showing where the (+) and (-) leads of the voltmeter are connected.
