What's Homework, Questions of the Day, In Class work, etc?
HOMEWORK is posted in the first column of this table. The solutions are posted too.Turn this in for points.
QUESTIONS OF THE DAY are what you are supposed to learn today. Take notes, keep and use them (and use them later on the exam). You don't have to turn these in.
IN CLASS WORK: Often, but not always, in class work will be all or part of your homework. Whatever is homework, turn it in. The rest, not required to be turned in.
SIMILAR PROBLEMS: (last column of this table) Often I will give you similar problems to those that are assigned as homework. These can give you extra practice, but are not required to be turned in. If you have to look at the homework solutions to do the problems, you should probably do some extra practice. Solutions to similar problems can be found in the FILES section of canvas in a folder called homework solutions (see tab to your left <<<<<<). Please DO NOT SHARE THESE PUBLICLY.
GRADING: Full points will be given if you turn in completed homework, whether or not it is correct. Yep, that's right. Please check your answers, make any corrections you need to, and turn it in.
EXAMS: You may use any of the materials you write for homework, questions of the day, similar problems, etc. on the exams. So take your time, make good notes, and keep improving your notes as you find details you might have initially missed.
