Instructions

Evaluate the claim that your cell phone uses more energy than a refrigerator. Explain the process by which you evaluate this claim in detail, and the conclusion(s) you reach.

NOTE: You do NOT have to read the entire long article in detail, but should scan through it to get a general idea of the items they are discussing.

You may decide to agree with the claim, disagree, or remain confused (if you are confused, list the major questions you have). You may partially agree, partially disagree, whatever. I am more interested in the PROCESS by which you evaluate information on something you are not familiar with. You may use the PADRE process, or if it doesn't resonate with you, find another process online (search information literacy for alternate resources). Please be sure you explain your thought process for coming to your conclusion(s).
