Welcome!

This course is designed for Utah Higher Education faculty, staff, and students who would like to learn more about the philosophy and practices surrounding Open Education Resources (OER). Additionally, participants will be guided through creation of a digital publication using UEN's statewide license for PressbooksEDU.

By the end of the course, you will--

  • Know how to connect with Utah's growing OER and OP community
  • Be familiar with key terms and concepts of OER and OP
  • Be aware of why and how to find, evaluate, and use OER 
  • Know how to use OER to increase engagement and streamline processes (such as grading in Canvas via PressbooksEDU)
  • Have a complete Pressbooks project
