What is MATLAB?
MATLAB (short for "Matrix Laboratory") is a powerful computing platform designed specifically for scientists and engineers. MATLAB is an industry standard product, and so we will be using it throughout many courses in the ECE curriculum.
In this Lab, you will:
- Complete Parts 1--5 of the Matlab OnRamp online interactive tutorial to learn the basics of Matlab.
- Use Matlab to write a program to find the equivalent resistance of series and parallel circuits.
Materials Needed: (you should have acquired these in Lab 0)
- Access to MATLAB OnRamp Links to an external site. (does not require access to Matlab)
- Access to Matlab (to complete the assignment).
Resources:
MATLAB OnRamp Links to an external site.(Should take about 1 hour to complete Parts 1--5)
DUE: Scan the Lab PDF with your name and the blanks filled in. Turn in a screen shot of your Onramp completion on Canvas as well as your source code. Labs are due the next time you attend lab, so this lab is due when you attend Lab 2.
