Make your own caterpillar and race them against others! This cute and fun activity can be played by all ages!

Supplies:

  • Construction paper 
  • Scissors 
  • Marker 
  • Tape 
  • Straws (enough for each person playing)

Follow Along Below

Written Instructions (Printable PDF)

  1. Cut your construction paper into strips.
  2. Fold one of the strips in half.
  3. Fold the left end into the middle and do the same on the right side.
  4. Fold the left end and right end into the middle again.
  5.  Fold in half.
  6. Cut the corners to create rounded edges.
  7. Open up and fold the two ends to create an arch.
  8. Draw eyes on your caterpillar.
  9.  Mark a spot on the floor or table for a finish line.
  10. Blow gently through the straw on the middle of your caterpillar. 
  11. Then point your straw on the second to last circle and blow.
  12. Use this method to cross the finish line!
