In this activity we will be making animal track stamps out of sponges!

Parental Warnings: Scissor use

Supplies:

  • Card stock or cardboard
  • Glue or tape
  • Paint
  • 3-5 sponges
  • Scissors
  • Plastic table cloth (if desired)

Written Instructions (Printable PDF)

  1. Cut out cardboard squares.
  2. Use any type of sponge to cut into the animal track shape that you desire.
  3. Glue the sponge animal prints to the cardboard.
  4. Wait for them to dry.
  5. Pick out the paint colors of your choice and dip or layer your stamp in paint.
  6. Using construction or printer paper, stamp your animal tracks in the pattern desired!
