Project Poster
- Due Dec 2, 2019 by 11:59pm
- Points 100
- Submitting a file upload
You must prepare a poster that describes your project, your final demo application, and anything else that someone looking at your project would find interesting. We’ll have open demos of all projects in the DSL from 10am to noon on Friday Dec 6th. We’ll invite other students and professors to come by and see what you accomplished. Feel free to invite your friends and family too. You should have your project up and running along with your poster at this time. IMPORTANT: you must get the poster printed yourself from Print & Mail, FedEx, the Marriott Library, etc.
- Please make sure to get this done as soon as possible and turn it in as early as possible so we can comment on it's content, so pay attention to Monday December 2th by midnight deadline.
- Use a white background with colored material in the foreground but not to cover everything with color.
- It's better if you don't put any large verilog/assembly code on your poster as it doesn't make any sense unless it's a special and short algorithm that you wrote and it is significant.
- Your poster needs to be 24x36. This meens that your powerpoint page setup should have a width of 36 and height of 24, and landscape orientation is prefered.
- The following are some ideas on what to put on the poster:
- Image of the top level schematic (or whichever schematic that represent your entire system better)
- System block diagram is always a great center image.
- Team name in some form of logo or just a cool looking font.
- Team member names in a visible location
- Image(s) related to the project
- Short and on-point text explaining various parts that you think are unique and exciting.
- Very short and high level pseudo code of your application
- Finally, please make sure what you put in there is readable and not too small to see, remember that this is a very large print format. Below is an example project poster to show you size and organization, remember that this is just an example and yours will look totally different.
