Documentation
At this point, your written documentation for your processor, assembler, and I/O should be complete. The I/O documentation should include block and circuit diagrams along with a general description of the I/O interface and how it will communicate with the processor.
The application documentation should also be nearly complete. Namely, there should be a high-level flow chart, along with flow charts for each major sub-function. These should be well described as well to provide a clear specification for the application program development.
