Knowledge

When you are researching a topic and trying fond evidence to support your argument or document the pros and cons to your idea, you might want to consider additional sources to help you triangulate your findings or arguments. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Writing Center have a great website Links to an external site. for thinking about your topic and argument.

Basic Skills

Don’t Forget About Other Library Resources, Tools, and People

  1. Interlibrary Loan (ILL) (Links to an external site.)  (login with your Unid and password to request articles, books, etc)
  2. Suggest a Purchase  (Links to an external site.)
    If you think a book you need would be a valuable resource in our collection you can suggest the library purchase it for you
  3. Request that a book be pulled for you.
  • There is more than ONE Library. The University of Utah has the Marriott Library AND ALSO a Law, a Music, and a Health Sciences Library. Each Library has a phone and email contact info on their homepage and Eccles and the Marriott have a virtual chat option as well.
