Note: Due to the Exam on Thursday, Mar. 27, there is no homework due this on Sunday, Mar. 30. 

This week we will have our second midterm exam! After the exam, we will discuss galaxies and dark matter.

This week we will discuss more about galaxies. By the end of this week, you should be able to:

• describe the sizes and shapes of galaxies.
• explain how we measure vast distances in the Universe.

Make sure that you complete the following:

• Attend lecture on Tuesday at 9:10am (JFB 101).
• Take the in-class exam on Thursday at 9:10am (JFB 101).
• Complete reading and reading quiz before lectures (listed in Activities below).
