Week 2 Overview
Overview
This week we will complete Chapter 1 and then begin focusing on the motions of the Earth and the Moon in Chapter 2.
By the end of this week, you should:
- be able to describe how Earth's rotation affects how we perceive motions in the sky.
- be able to visualize how Earth's motion around the Sun determine which stars we see.
- be able to explain how Earth's tilt on its axis determines how seasons are experienced.
Make sure that you complete the following:
- Attend lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:10am (JFB 101).
- Complete reading and reading quizzes before lectures (listed in Activities below).
- Complete the homework assignment (listed in Activities below).
