So, you wanna know a thing about Yeezys huh? Well buckle up because I’m gonna tell you in ins and outs of yeezys, everything from fake yeezys to fake hype, from 350’s to 700’s. This is a one stop shop for yeezy culture. When you look at yourself in the mirror, is your first thought “yep thatr’s a sneaker head right there” well if the answer to that question was yes then you either own yeeezys already or I am going to convince you to get some. Yeezys are worth the hype. Period. Let’s talk categories first, you got your Yeezy Boost 350’s, Yeezy Boost 350 V2’s, Yeezy Boost 750’s and last but not least, Yeezy Boost 950’s. Pricing Yeezys accordingly can be quite difficult at times but to simplify things into the most basic equation, rarer = more expensive.
Prior to Kanye hitting the fashion scene, it would have been unthinkable to imagine running shoes as being a high end fashion statement. But the man Yeezy made it happen. The clearest example of this would be with the 350 and 350 v2 models. It is thought that the original intention for these shoes were that they were meant to be just running shoes and nothing else, but a funny thing happens when you limit the rarity of a product, the demand sky rockets!
You probably already know that Yeezy sign with Adidas to form the iconic Yeezy brand that we all know and love today, but did you know that he initially signed with Nike. So if you see a shoe on the market called the Nike Red October Yeezys, don’t be so quick to call them fake yeezys, as it is true that he produced some extremely rare Yeezys with Nike before signing to Adidas.
That was a brief history lesson on the ins and outs of real and fake Yeezys and everything in between. Be sure to also study up on Yeezys in your own time as the history behind them is really quite incredible and helps explain much of the hype surrounding them.
