The E-Portfolio Assignment Option for Week 4 (10 points)
In addition to curating scholarly articles and setting up a citation manager to college and manage citations, you can also set up an E-portfolio that is part of Canvas (called Portfolium) and collect and manage your course work and any other materials you would like to curate in a portfolio. This tutorial will help you set up the portfolioLinks to an external site. and build your professional identity will guide you through the process.
- Set up a Canvas Portfolio
- Add several ECE 6960 assignments to the portfolio
- Create an Invite Link and post the Portfolio Link in this Portfolio Assignment Option
What you can do in the E-Portfolio:
- Set up a profile to share
- List skills and attach skills to assignments
- Link course assignments from any of your courses into the portfolio
- Add external files (ex. PowerPoint presentations, word files, videos etc) that are not part of your courses
- Add descriptions and reflections about the assignments and share with prospective employers
- Folio also has a networking and job component
- You can view other Utah student portfolios too to get new ideas
- Once the portfolio is done you can save as a PDF file or share a link with employers or your advisor
