Read the course syllabus
The Syllabus will provide you with:
- Course Description: overview of course information, goals & objectives, required materials, & methods of evaluation
- Course Policies: submitting assignments, grading, & accommodations
- Student & Instructor Expectations: what you agree to upon taking this course
- Institutional Policies: drop & withdrawal, plagiarism, health & safety, & support for students of all backgrounds
- Course Content Summary: due dates & important assignments. Note additional assignments will be added throughout the semester. This is the first time we have taught this course (we're excited about it!), and are developing it as we go.
Please read it carefully. You should be familiar with the schedule and process of the course.
Plan Your Schedule
Review the Syllabus to see the modules scheduled for this semester. There are no exams. We have listed recommended weeks for doing each module, although we will accept assignments at any time. We will be posting modules slightly before the weeks noted.
How much time will this take? Plan on each 10-point assignment taking about 1 hour of preparation (reading or video lectures), and 1 hour of activity on your part.
