Lecture (L5-4,5) RC & RL Circuits
- Due Nov 12, 2024 by 11am
- Points None
In sections 5.2 and 5.3, you learned about capacitors and inductors. You also learned about the voltages and currents in simple series RC and RL circuits, and very briefly about how they can be used to filter DC (constant) or AC (high frequency) signals. In sections 5.4 and 5.5, you will learn how to calculate the voltages and currents for more general RC and RL circuits. NOTE: These concepts may seem difficult at first, and we are covering them only briefly. You will spend more time on this in ECE2240 and become more comfortable with them at that time.

Questions of the Day (Learning Objectives)
- How can you calculate the voltage and current in a circuit that has inductors and/or capacitors?
