Welcome to Class!

Complete the following steps to help you get ready for your course. 

Get to Know Your InstructorS

This semester we have two sections of the course, both taught Tuesday/Thursday. Dr. Furse Links to an external site. will teach from 10:45-12:05pm in WEB L103, and Dr. Stevens Links to an external site.will teach from 3:40-5pm in WEB L114.  Both sessions will also have Zoom (join from the tab on the left bar of Canvas). You are welcome to attend either or both sections (except exam days, when you should attend your assigned section).

Flexibility in ECE 1240/1245/1050

  • Class time: Attend in person or Zoom.  You are registered in one section, but can attend any section.
  • Office hours: please attend, additional times available by appointment.
  • Exams: attend in person or Zoom. Final exam acts as make up for any/all midterms.
  • Labs: Please attend your assigned lab. Make up labs as needed by attending additional sessions.
  • Homework, labs, Matlab, will be accepted through the end of the semester. Keep up if at all possible, but late assignments will be accepted with no penalty. (This is a dangerous flexibility! Personal motivation needed.)
  • Extra Credit: Want to try a few real-world things? There are a lot of extra credit opportunities to try something interesting.
