This Spring the University of Utah will be hosting multiple Internship & Career Fair Days. These are great opportunities for you to explore careers, network with employers, and even gain ideas for internship or job opportunities.
We'd like you to register for one of these opportunities (and attend).
Step 1: Select one Internship & Career Fair Day you would like to attend and then register or if registration isn't available yet, click the "I'm Interested" button and provide your name and e-mail address so the Career Center can contact you with further information.

In the registration link, you will see a list of "All Employers" who will be attending that day. You can even search by "Electrical Engineering." Do a search and identify 3-4 companies you would be interested in talking to that day.

Be sure to take a look at the professional dress code suggestions Links to an external site. and if you need any professional dress clothes, you are welcome to borrow complimentary professional clothes from the Career Success Center (GARFF Building, Suite 1300, Tues - Fri 9:30 AM - 3 PM).
Step 4: Set your intentions.
For this assignment, provide a brief response to the following:
- Which career fair do you plan to attend (in-person or virtual)?
- What 3-4 companies do you hope to learn more about?
- What specifically are you hoping to learn? (Feel free to identify questions you might ask from the "5 Steps to Informational Interviewing" handout.)
- How do you plan to prepare?
- What questions do you have? It's okay if you don't have any; I just want to know how I can help you.
