SBS Retreat

R CLUB

R Club is designed to help students navigate the world that is R, whether that is through generic how-tos or project-specific model building.

Group Bio

R Club is open to any student. In R Club, our main goal is to make R more accessible to anyone that needs to run statistical analysis and/or make graphs. Before every meeting, we send out a call to anyone that needs project-specific help. If we get takers, we spend the first part of the meeting going over that specific question. If we don’t get any takers, or we finish early, we then go into a general lesson on R. This starts from simply installing and running R and progresses all the way up to hypothesis testing and statistical analysis.

How to get involved

To get involved, simply email Austin Green (austin.m.green2015@gmail.com) to get added to the email list. From there, we’ll send out agenda, meeting time, and meeting place for each week.
