Instructions

Using the provided materials, you’ll mix some ingredients and make some crackling slime with us!

Length of Activity: 1 Hour

Supplies:

  • 1 tbs Borax
  • 1 cup of glue
  • 1/4 cup beads, Slime Beads (work best) or regular small beads  
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Food coloring
  • Plastic Table Cloth
  • Bowl
  • Spoon

Written Instructions (Printable PDF) 

  1. Mix a tablespoon of Borax into the warm water.
  2. Pour a cup of glue into your bowl.
  3. Mix in the desired food coloring into your glue.
  4. Put in your slime beads, making sure not to do too much.
  5. Slowly alternate between a tablespoon of the water borax activator mixture and mixing the slime.
  6. Once it starts sticking to the bowl pull out the slime and begin to knead.
  7. Knead for a whileIf you need to, moisturize your hands first so it doesn't stick as much.
  8. Knead until it doesn’t stick, add borax if it needs it.
  9. Use your cracking slime and make sure not to get it everywhere!
