Supplies:

  • Marker
  • Duct tape
  • Colored construction paper
    • You can also print off images from your computer

Written Instructions (Printable PDF)

  1. Trace 12 handprints and 12 footprints on different colored construction paper.
    • If you don’t want to trace prints, you can print hand and footprints from your computer.
  2. Lay out and tape your pattern. You can make the pattern as long as you want, but it needs to be only three papers across. (i.e. hand, hand, foot. Above that, foot, hand, foot. Above that, foot, foot, hand, etc.) Your pattern can be as challenging or easy as you’d like!
  3. Play the game! Participants will need to jump from pattern to pattern following the foot or handprint prompts.
    • You can make the game more challenging by timing individuals or playing in partners. To play in partners, one partner would be blindfolded while the other tells them what pattern they have to jump to next. You can also print out or trace right and left, hand and footprints and players have to follow the specific print.
