These pretzel ladybugs are an adorable, easy, and delicious summer snack!

  • 2 bowls
  • Parchment paper
  • Spoon
  • Fork
  • Skewer/toothpick
  • Pretzels (Rold Gold Tiny Twists are a perfect size)
  • White chocolate chips
  • Milk chocolate chips
  • Red food coloring
  • Candy eyes
    • Found in the baking aisle
    • Or on Amazon

Written Instructions (Printable PDF)

  1. Melt your white chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments and stir between the 30 seconds.
  2. Once completely melted, add a few drops of the red food coloring and mix.
  3. Place parchment paper down.
  4. Dip your pretzels in the red chocolate and place on parchment paper.
  5. Melt your milk chocolate in a separate bowl and use the same method mentioned above.
  6. Once your pretzels are covered, dip the round or the bottom of the pretzel into the milk chocolate.
  7. Attach the candy eyes while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Use a toothpick or skewer to pick up some milk chocolate and create dots on the pretzel.
  9. Enjoy!
