Supplies:
- Baking Soda
- Clean Drinking Glass
- Measuring Spoons
- Water
- Food Coloring
- Screwdriver
- 2 Drinking Straws
- Scissors
- Glass Bottle
- Cork

- Poke a hole through the middle of a cork using a screwdriver.
- Insert the short end of a drinking straw in the hole in the cork.
- Cut a small slit at the other end of the drinking straw and slide it inside a second drinking straw.
- Fill the drinking glass with water and stir in a couple of drops of food dye.
- Pour half a tablespoon of baking soda into the bottle using a folded piece of paper.
- Pour some vinegar into the bottle until it is about 1⁄4 of the way full. Then, quickly push the cork into the top of the bottle and put the end of the second straw in the glass of dyed water.
- Watch bubbles appear in the water.
- DO NOT DRINK your new bubbly water!
