Written Instructions (Printable PDF)

  1. Make two long, skinny cones for the legs using green playdough.
  2. Make two small slightly flat teardrop shapes for the feet using green playdough.
  3. Make two small slightly flattened spheres for the eyes using green playdough.
  4. Make one large sphere for the body using green playdough.
  5. Make two very small slightly flattened spheres for the eyes using white playdough. These should be about ⅓ the size of the green used for the eyes.
  6. Carefully press one of the small white circles on one of the small green spheres to make the eyes. Repeat with the remaining white and green spheres.
  7. Using a toothpick, dot a tiny amount of black playdough on the whites of the frog eyes that you just made.
  8. Using the long green cones that you made, fold the ends toward each other to create the shape of a frog leg. Repeat with the remaining cone.
  9. Carefully stick the frog legs you just made to the large sphere (the body of the frog). If the playdough is not sticking, get the playdough slightly wet.
  10. Carefully stick the eyes to the top of the frog and the feet to the base of the frog. If the playdough is not sticking, use water to get the playdough slightly wet.
  11. Optional, use a toothpick or more playdough to create a smile on the frog.
