Written Instructions (Printable PDF)

  1. Gather flowers, leaves, and other greenery.
  2. Lay your contact paper on a flat surface with the non-stick side up (do not remove peel off sticker on sticky side yet).
  3. Use mason jar band to measure and mark 4 to 5 circles on contact paper.
  4. Turn contact paper over with sticky side facing up and remove peel off.
  5. Remove stems from flowers and pull off petals if desired.
  6. Arrange flowers and greenery inside the various circles.
  7. After all the circles are filled to your liking, take another sheet of contact paper.
  8. Remove peel off sticker and apply the sticky end down on the flowers (stick sides are touching on both pieces of contact paper).
  9. Be slow and cautious as to not disrupt the greenery you have already put down.
  10. Press down hard on all the circles so they are as flat as possible, and the greenery is stuck inside.
  11. Use your scissors to cut out the circles, leave a bit of room around the circle so it is easier to glue down.
  12. Arrange your mason jar bands so the indented side is up.
  13. Tie your strings through the mason jar bands so they can hang.
  14. Glue your contact paper circles to the inside of the mason jar bands.
  15. Put the large stick through the loops you made with the string through the mason jar bands.
  16. Apply a little glue to the string and stick so they do not fall.
  17. Tie string around the middle of the stick and glue down.
  18. Take a long piece of string and tie one end to one end of the stick and do the same on the opposite side.
  19. Pull the middle of that string tight and loop it through the middle string you made previously.
  20. Tie it in a knot so your wind chimes will be balanced.
  21. Hang up and admire the greenery when the sun catches it perfectly.
