We hope you enjoy this workshop. Our objectives are to help you:

Explore 'What is Flipping' and how you might use it in your teaching.
Learn ways to find or create video material.
Learn ways to incorporate active learning in your classroom.

9:00 am - 10:00 am Tools for Creating Online Videos

See Videos Types in Module 2 ( link to the main Teaching Flipped website).
Best practices: QUICK 3-5 minute segments, 10-20 minutes max per (50 minute) class.
To Create a Video you need:
- Computer or Tablet PC with thin stylus (Surface Pro is very popular now), may use Power Point pens
- Document Camera ('Hands Writing')
- Other (See Nate Sanders, Marriott Library for demo box)

Writing Tool
Recording (Screen Capture): Ink2go screen capture software (no editing, available free for UU faculty from OSL.utah.edu)
Upload/Storage: YouTube (public mode; private/unlisted modes are also available)
Organization: Canvas (classroom management system)
