(and Live to Tell the Tale!)

Welcome to the May 8, 2018 Teaching Flipped Workshop (9am - Noon) We hope you enjoy this workshop. Our objectives are to help you:

9:00 am - 10:00 am Tools for Creating Online Videos
- The Flipped ECE classroom Download The Flipped ECE classroom
- Flipped Equipment TLT Download Flipped Equipment TLT
- See Videos Types in Module 2 ( link to the main Teaching Flipped website).
- Best practices: QUICK 3-5 minute segments, 10-20 minutes max per (50 minute) class.
- To Create a Video you need:
- Computer or Tablet PC with thin stylus (Surface Pro is very popular now), may use Power Point pens
- Document Camera ('Hands Writing')
- Other (See Nate Sanders, Marriott Library for demo box)
- Writing Tool
- Recording (Screen Capture): Ink2go screen capture software (no editing, available free for UU faculty from OSL.utah.edu)
- Upload/Storage: YouTube (public mode; private/unlisted modes are also available)
- Organization: Canvas (classroom management system)
