Course: Navigating Canvas

Welcome to Canvas!  Check out the different ways to navigate this course:

1)  Calendar View:  See what is due when for this and all of your other courses.  (At the top of this page, click on 'Calendar'.  At the right of the calendar, click on which course(s) you want to see.  These are the DUE dates for assignments, labs, etc.)

2)  Module View:  See all modules and what is due when.  (On the left of this page, click on 'Modules' for a list of lectures, homework, and labs, in the order they are assigned.)

3)  Follow-the-Module View:  Follow through each module step-by-step. When you are 'on' a lecture/assignment page, arrows at the bottom will take you to 'next' and 'previous'. (Be aware!  When using this 'view'....Some days we cover one section, some days two sections).   This will walk you through the lectures, applications, extra examples, and homework, in order.

4) Assignment View:  To see the full list of assignments and their points, including Extra Credit options.  (On the left of this page, click on 'Assignments')

5) Grades View:  Keep track of what you have turned in and what grades you have received.  (On the left of this page, click on 'Grades')  It is my goal that TAs will grade and return your assignments the week after you have turned them in.
