Abstract:
Are you interested in creating scalable library instruction that students and faculty can use for self-directed learning and research and teaching support? Grounding the development of instructional resources in the HyFlex learning model provides options for creating adaptable resources for face-to-face, hybrid, or online learning environments. Librarians will describe a case study using a Canvas LMS solution with self-guided learning modules. We will discuss communication strategies, instructional design, audience targeting, self-paced instruction, and reusability. This session includes time to collaborate with attendees and presenters in breakout rooms to start planning your own self-paced instructional model.
