Details_Scopus

Scopus is a library database that contains health, social sciences, engineering, and science literature. You can access it through the library's A-Z database list Links to an external site.. This is a great database for starting many research projects.

Below are a few short videos showing some of our favorite Scopus features. Other databases have similar features.

These videos were originally created for H EDU 5300: Health and Diversity - a great class! In this class, groups research health disparities for specific populations. In these videos I researched type 2 diabetes in African Americans.

  1. What interventions help refugee students transition more easily to their new academic environment?
  2. Can a mobile app encourage exercise among adults?
  3. What are the environmental impacts of new bridge in a watershed area?
  4. How can catheters be designed to be less invasive and/or reduce infections?
