Module 1 Description
Module 1 will introduce you to the concept of a flipped a classroom and get you thinking about how this pedagogical approach might fit into your own teaching and classroom context. This module that will run for 2 weeks and is divided into 2 parts, 1A and 1B. At the end of Module 1 you will have a plan for a flipped lesson, lecture or course design (depending on your own needs) and be ready to move onto Modules 2 and 3 where you will start working on the online videos and the in-class or online active learning flipped components.
Module 1 Objectives: By the end of this module, you will have:
- Reviewed the literature and resources available on the flipped classroom
- Brainstormed ideas for a flipped learning design
- Developed a structure for your own flipped instruction
