Observation forms

These observation forms can be used to get feedback about your flipped lesson. They can be used by a consultant at your institution's center for teaching and learning, if they do not already have a form specifically for observing flipped classes. Don't have a center for teaching and learning at your institution? Hand one of your peers an observation form and these Download Peer Observation and Feedback Guidelines

to help him/her observe your lesson. Here is a Download form with some sample feedback to give you and your observer an idea of what to look for in some of the items.

  

Download Flipped Lesson Observation- Long Form

This form contains the following sections: Lesson Plan (Video), Lesson Plan (Face-2-Face), Instructor Interpersonal Skills, Student Behavior, Instructor-Student and Student-Student Interaction, Learning Objectives, and Summary.

 

Download Flipped Lesson Observation- Short Form

This is an abbreviated version of the Long Form. It is less thorough but includes the essentials. It contains the following sections: Lesson Plan (Video), Lesson Plan (Face-2-Face), Learning Objectives, Instructor Interpersonal Skills, Student Behavior, and Instructor-Student and Student-Student Interaction.
