Objectives: Introduce ourselves, gain an overview of the course and assignments, make sure everyone is familiar with Instructure Canvas, and introduce the topic of evidence-based practice as pleasantly as possible.

We'll do introductions; I'll want to know your name and a little bit about you, and I expect you'll want to know a little bit more about me.

After that, we'll go through the syllabus, texts, and assignments, and I'll answer any questions you have along the way. I'll go through the readings for next week as well.

Oh, and I'll probably tell a few jokes, just to test your humor quotient.

After a quick break at about 5:15, we will have an introduction to Canvas. I did not get the course mounted until today, so I hope you will have a chance to log in tomorrow to look around and get started.

We'll wrap up with a basic introduction to the concepts and steps of Evidence-Based Practice.
